Here is a letter from a satisfied Slow Boat builder
Hi Scott and Bob,
Well it flies beautifully.
I flew SlowBoat twice yesterday and then quickly checked for heating of the ESC.
It was just warm so I don't think I have to worry much about it getting too hot.
Of course I will give it a chance to cool off between flights anyway.
I like to fly 8 to 10 minutes per flight and then sit for a little bit.
I pushed it bit harder yesterday to check the ESC.
My friend Pierre wants very much to make a video so if that turns out OK I will let you know.
I did a static test and it was pulling 144 Watts on the bench.
This made it jump off the grass and I was quickly pulling back on the throttle.
I did get the airplane a couple of ounces heavier with my modifications
and some decorating but I put the G of G about 1/4 inch behind the wing spar
which required a little lead weight in the nose.
My all up at take-off weight was 19.5 ounces.
Very satisfying,
Cheers, Grant.
